I often receive questionaires from schoolchildren doing projects; and am happy to help as you never know when a seed sown in the wildlife rescue world will produce the next David Attenborough or Hamza Yassin.
While the majority of general public enquiries are based around immediate care for an injured bird, or where can they take it to, or sometimes if someone can collect (less able to locate a rescue these days with collection facilities).
The veterinary surgeries do sometimes also need help in finding out where their local wildlife rescues are, but notably do keep checking up on viability of operations for birds with broken bones. Such was the request for our detailed information on our website last September, we have reproduced the information and send it out as a jpg image so it is readily to hand.
